Proceeds will benefit Relay For Life and the American Cancer Society. $1.00 from every at gate ticket sold will go to this very worthy cause. The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Greater Richmond brings the community together to fight cancer! The American Cancer Society is attacking cancer from every angle, and at ACS, we know a cancer diagnosis can be scary and overwhelming. Whether you need emotional support, the latest cancer information, a ride to chemo, or a place to stay when treatment is far away, we’re here to help – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. ACS funded researchers are working here in the community, and whether we’re conducting research or funding it, our goal remains the same: to free the world from the pain and suffering of cancer. The funds raised through Relay For Life represent hope in that those lost to cancer will not be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported, and that one day, cancer will be eliminated.

Our food trucks go head to head for who has the best BBQ of the Hanover Maters Corks and Kegs Festival and you get to be the judge! Interested in being a judge? Follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and watch for the “I want to be a BBQ judge” postings. When you see those like them and post on the message “I want to be a judge”. 20 winners will be selected and will receive two free tickets to the festival plus a “I’m a BBQ Judge” t-shirt. All judges will be given one free sample from each BBQ vendor and a card to fill out with their picks for the best. You must be able to attend the festival on the 23rd, taste, judge and turn in your card by 5 pm that day. The best BBQ will be announced at 5:30 pm on the main stage under the big tent.
